Why Use Solar Power or Wind Power?
Our world is too dependent on oil, coal and natural gas. The energy trapped in these fuels originally came from the sun. Our sun is supposed to burn for over 5 billion more years - long after our coal, oil and natural gas have depleted to nothing. Why not use this abundant resource, the sun, to create power?
In addition, the sun is not the only source for renewable energy. We can also use the wind for creating low-cost energy that has a minimal impact on the environment. Why not use the fossil fuels more as a reserve and not a main power source?
